
Kohima, July 28 (MExN): The Kohima Sumi Hoho (KSH) has condemned the July 22 robbery at the Delhivery Pvt. Ltd. courier agency in Kohima and acknowledged the police team for their prompt action in apprehending the culprits. The Hoho anticipates for speedy delivery of justice so that it acts as a deterrent to future incidents as such, KSH President Khevito T Shohe said in a press release on Tuesday. Further, the KSH expressed concern over the crime committed by some persons belonging to Sumi community stating “The action committed by such unscrupulous persons in no way reflects our Sumi ethos.” “The Hoho hopes that this incident would not undermine our commitment towards building a culture of peace and unity,” the release stated. The KSH meanwhile cautioned any member of the Sumi community residing in Kohima, indulging in any anti-social activities and tarnishing the image of the whole community “will be dealt with stringent action up to the extent of eviction of the family from Kohima city.”
