The Kohima Town Christian Revival Church Youth Fellowship (KTCRCYF) is all set to organize two day long ‘Fierce Open Badminton Tournament 2022’ at Grand Vista Arena, Meriema, near Kohima on October 14 and 15.
This tournament will take place in collaboration with NV Press, Grand Vista Arena, Nagaland Badminton Association, PC (Progressive Construction), T. Tachu & Co and Kohima District Badminton Association.

Around 60 players have confirmed their participation so far, said tournament convenor Zhaviu Pienyu while addressing a press conference today at Crescent International Hotel, Kohima.
Last date for registration has been extended till 12:00 noon on October 13.
Registration fee for beginners category (men’s doubles) has been fixed at Rs. 1000, for amateur category (men’s single- Rs. 2000/Men’s doubles- Rs. 3000), 40+ category (men’s doubles- Rs. 3000) and open category (Men’s doubles- Rs. 3000).
Pienyu informed that the tournament aims to encourage the youth and the church to involve in the physical fitness activities.
It also aims to bring the people together, unity among the people and also to build a strong bonding.
Any interested badminton players can join the tournament.
