Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The first general meeting of the Kewhimia Union Dimapur (KUD) was held at Kudawhi Guest House, Bank Colony, Dimapur on May 11.
Visedelie Mepfuo, Additional Commissioner for Excise officially released the first KUD Constitution during the meeting.
According to a press release, Mepfuo appreciated the present KUD team for initiating various activities and also for launching the union Constitution which was awaited for a long time.
He added that the deeds of the elders need to be remembered and followed by the younger generation to better the union and achieve its aims and objectives.
K James Vizo, President, KUD, chairing the meeting stated that teamwork was a priority of the union and called upon the members to actively participate in the activities initiated by the union.
During the meeting, a Finance Committee was also constituted with Guo-ou Karhüo as the Convener.
