As a prelude to the festive season, the Phezoucha Rhüba Youth Organization, L Khel Kohima village has initiated its 1st Night Carnival cum musical night from December 1 till 10 December commencing from 5:00PM to 9:00 PM in front of Tsieramia community building till Civil secretariat office gate.
The main objective of the carnival is to create a festive spirit and to promote good vibes amongst the denizens of Phezoucha Rhüba, the night carnival feature varieties of local & indigenous food stalls suitable for family dinner and children friendly which is "alcohol and gambling free zone".
The carnivals also presents musical night to promote local artists and to also give a platform and opportunity for our children to exhibit their talents for which, anyone (individual or group) is welcome to participate voluntarily with prior information to the organizers.
The Night Carnival at Phezoucha started with a short program chaired by Kevilhouthie Yhome while welcome address was delivered by Kekhrielelie Tseikha, Phezoucha Rhüba President.
Likewise special song was presented by Leeya after which the Special guest Anthony Ngullie, Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports opened the Night carnival and light up the decoration made by the Phezoucha Rhüba Youth Org, (from Tsieramia Community Building till Civil Secretariat Gate) followed by different Item presented by members of Phezoucha communities and the carnival proceed till 9:00 pm.
To culminate the tenth day's night carnivals, there will be a choral competition for all the churches under Phezoucha Rhüba on December 10 at 5:00 PM, according to Kelhoungunyü Vizo, Convenor, Phezoucha Rhüba Night Carnival.
