Tuensang, July 13 (MExN): The incessant rainfall for the past weeks has accumulated a major landslide cutting off the road connectivity of Chessore via Zunheboto, Aghunato, and Tuensang to Chessore.
According to a press release received here, this stretch of road is the only connection to the hub for importing food commodities and travelling for all the official works but it is in grave condition and not motorable.
The road via Tuensang major landslides were mended and cleared by excavator with the aid from H. Mukam Yimchunger, Advocate an indenting candidate from Chessore-Shamator 58 A/C.
However, the road still remains unmotorable due to intense depth diverted drains. On account of these grievances, Chessore Area Public Forum has requested the responsible authority to look into the matter immediately.
