Langzanger village held a thanksgiving service for the success of Clean Election Campaign in the village during the recently concluded State Legislative Assembly. It was attended by citizens, well-wishers and leaders of the village.
The pastor of the village in his sermon said there is blessing from God when leaders and citizens have common vision and put God first in everything they do. “Abiding by the call of NBCC and the USBLA and the understanding of the citizens has led to the success of the Clean Election in the village. The blessing of god will surely be on the citizens,” the pastor declared.
Thrikyuse, Head GB of the village meanwhile attributed the success of the Clean Election Campaign in the village amidst lots of ups and down to the understanding of citizens and also the blessing of God. He expressed gratitude to the citizens and also appealed to march forward with positive mindset even in the days ahead.
“The success of Clean Election in Aspiring District like ours reflects the understanding of the citizens and others should learn from us,” Yanglise, village council chairman said, while appealing to the villagers to take part in the vision for the development of the village.
Lenthrongthsi, women pastor led the thanksgiving prayer. Special songs were presented by the women society and Philip at the programme, which was followed by thanksgiving feast.
