Dedicated to the fallen heroes of Blue Bird Operation, 9th July 1987 The land so beloved Our motherland Get a last glimpse My comrades Turn your back Turn your eyes The misty hills Our birthplace Get a last glimpse This could be But a final glimpse Until we view View from above After our last breathe Passing over To a new home Of eternal joy Where we will Suffer no more Where we will Cry no more Where we will Shed no more tears Where we will Be freed From tormentors From clutches Of cruelty Inhumanity Bestiality Insanity Then we shall Ask but of Justice For our innocence blood shed For our lives Taken without basis Eliminated us Not enough with that Labeled us as ‘rebels’ We were but civilians Sacrificed our beings For the land we love For the people we love For the cause of truth For the cause of conscience We didn’t attempt escape Boldly, painfully We endured We suffered The cruelties Of the enemies To save our folks From such torment Which was But horrific Humiliating Agonizing We view from Heaven Yet the justice is not given We are above death But Justice must be given How long will justice be denied?
