Late Suhoje Kiho mourned

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): The Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho and the Kohima Press Club (KPC) expressed their grief over the demise of Late Akukau Suhoje Kiho, the GB of Chisholimi Village. Kiho, 75, passed away on the evening of July 29 in Dimapur.

Since 2000, Kiho had been the G.B in his native village of Chisholimi under the Pughoboto sub-division. His leadership extended beyond his village as he served as the President of the Sumi Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho (GB’s Association) from 2012 to 2017 and remained an advisor to the association until his passing. Additionally, Kiho was an Executive Member of the Sumi Hoho from 2018 to 2021 and held various political positions, including President of the Congress (I), JDU, and NPF parties in the Pughoboto Division at different times.

The Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho highlighted the significant loss to the socio-political fabric of Aphuyemi due to Kiho's passing, stating that his demise has left a void that will not be easily filled. They offered their heartfelt condolences to his family, remembering him as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and leader.

The KPC also extended its condolences, particularly to Kiho’s daughter, Kanili Kiho, Information and Publicity Secretary of the Dimapur Press Club. The KPC acknowledged the sorrow faced by the bereaved family and expressed their solidarity in this time of grief. They wished the family peace, consolation, courage, and abundant love, hoping that these sentiments bring some comfort amidst their profound loss.
