LBES Women dept pledges support for Clean Election

Wokha, October 24 (DIPR): The Lotha Baptist Ekhümkho Sanrhyütsü (LBES) Women department during its annual year end fellowship cum meet resolved to continue its support and work for the Clean Election Campaign initiated by the NBCC, and to take a time of prayer once a day for a peaceful and Clean Election.  

During the meeting held at Wokha Village on October 21 and 22, 2017, the department also resolved to continue to uphold in their prayers, all the Lotha aspirants in different competitive exams, to use the means of social media and technological facilities reasonably, sensibly and with caution and that every woman will commit ourselves to live a witnessing life.  

The speakers were Rev. Benri Erui, Associate Pastor KLBC, who spoke on the topical 'Be a good citizen', Mhalo Yanthan, Women leader WTBC spoke on 'Responsible role of women in the world of quick imitations', and Meribeni Ngullie, Women Secretary who spoke on 'Be free from the deceptive ways of the world'.  

The programme began with a prayer by Nyanchumo Ezung, Executive Secretary LBES and a time of exhortation was taken by Lireni Murry.
