WOKHA, JANUARY 15 (MExN): LCYO entered the semifinal of the WCC T20 by beating Blackcaps Tseminyu in Wokha on January 15.
Winning the toss, Blackcaps opted to bat first and made 81 runs as target all out in 17.5 overs. Alisosang scored 15 runs in 24 balls for Blackaps.
Ajen Patton of LCYO in four overs claimed four wickets for 21 runs and Thechamo Odyuo in his 3.5 overs, gave away 19 runs and claimed three wickets.
LCYO in 8.3 overs registered victory while batting with the loss of just two wickets. Renjanthung 18 runs (not out) in 19 balls and Epithung 30 runs (not out) in 18 balls were their bet players. Alisosang of Blackaps in two overs, gave away 13 runs and claimed a wicket. LCYO won the match by 8 wickets in 8.3 overs, where Ajen Patton received the man of the match award.
