Learning, Education & Unemployment

Human being created by body, mind, life, intelligence and soul is a living figure whose creator is God. Living with the birth of human being acts according to God’s word and dies one day. It should be worrying topic what is the key to understanding the human life and death. When it is understood as the concept of the way human life is organized. When it is possible to learn past, present and future working culture of human life and death, it may be possible to find out what meaning life can have for human beings. Then we strongly accept human beings are social creation of Almighty God.  And societies are social forms enabling people to live together. The man has to prove with the help of his body, mind, life, intellect and soul that what is necessary for society and socialism. Sine childhood, the discipline of family and society human beings starts learning automatically between the family and the society. Humans experience sensation, their understanding grows. He learns, and learns. The basic knowledge he receives from family and society only. One great process of learning forms in family and society. Feelings are experienced with father-mother, brother-sister, uncle-aunty, grandfather-grandmother etc. There is the knowledge of cleanliness, the knowledge of cultivation, the knowledge of traditional art, the correctness of language, the acquisitioned knowledge towards the self-respecting ancestors of the family and the society. 


Mark K Smith explores - “Is education it different from family or society or schooling? It is a process of inviting truth and possibility. It can be defined as the wise, hopeful and respectful cultivation of learning undertaken in the belief that all should have the chance to share in life.” Human beings are learning all the time and that may not be conscious of it happening. Learning is both a process and an outcome. As a process it is part of living in the world, part of the way our bodies work. As an outcome it is a new understanding or feeling or appreciation of something. Human beings live with social inspirations. So, educators need to focus on creating environments and relationships for learning rather than trying to drill knowledge. I feel the process of learning from childhood till death of human beings in family or society or school’s environment and relationships are not different. The importance of learning tendency prominently sees on every path. Why not learning can be called a synonym of education?  Why can not the learning process recognize the real process of education?  I visited one church in Lingrijan before some days. I saw the Director of church Bendang Longkumer was working self to make boundary wall of church by own built Hollow Bricks from the help of church persons. I surprised. I asked why you are doing this work. Are you trained for this? He replied no, no, I am not trained. I have not taking any training. It is our work. I have developed my skills. One my ex-student Illunghei in Jalukie B village is a good carpenter. He makes different types of beautiful furniture. He has also not taken any training for carpenter. One home country craft shop is in 7th mile. I heard he is awarded to create traditional craft. I saw beautiful design of traditional bamboos and wooden craft made by self Mr. Alem. It is inherited from the heritage. Many such examples get me to look at Nagaland tour. I felt they are proud of their works. Is it different from running education process? I am connected with running education. I always visit in educational institutions, also in hostels. I like to talk with students. I found the students do not want to do works in field or garden or make any creation from their mind and fingers. They want to connect always with text books, tuitions and complete the courses of all their subjects. They want get only booking knowledge without any learning process. The teachers also want to teach targetable how to get maximum mark in the examination of their students. There is a lack of learning process is in running education. Due to this there is lack of basic knowledge. The absence of empirical real knowledge is lacking. It appears that the education process and learning process have adopted two different paths. The learning process quietly sees from the distance and is feeling neglected. And education process is much busy competing to educate. I am educated. I need a job. I am unemployed. Government does not giving jobs what I can do. 


What are causes of Unemployment and Consequences? That person who does not have a job he is unemployed. The unemployed is who is educated. The jobless is the one who wants the job. Educated persons cannot do anything other than unemployed jobs. The number of educated unemployed is increasing. The parents, the family, the society, the state and the country are drenching at their level. How to solve the problem of unemployment? The unemployment is being eaten to family, society, state and country as a termite. 


How did the unemployment come? Who created unemployment? Running education process has created two classes. One class is educated and other is uneducated. Educated means, it is resulting from or having had a good education by oxford dictionary. Characterized by or displaying qualities of culture and learning, based on some informatics knowledge facts   or experience. It comes to understand that the formal education process gives a good education, enhances understanding and develops qualitative culture of behaviours. Uneducated means, unschooled, illiterate, ignorant, empty-headed, ignoramus, uncultivated, uncultured, unlearned, unrefined, untaught, know-nothing, unread, untutored etc. Look pretty strange, it looks strange. Educated and uneducated, then it is noticed that on an illiterate labourer, illiterate artist etc., whose relentless experience generates hard work creates a constructive form of society and country. Are they unemployed? The question is who created unemployment – the educated society or the uneducated society. Pollution is being spread by whom – by educated or uneducated. Urea is being mixed in powder milk, adulteration is being done in place. How is this all happening? Who is promoting corruptions? When considered, the body goes to the folding. And the irrefutable truth is that I am also the so-called educated one. I feel all problems are creating by educated not uneducated.


In the end, I would like to convey the idea that education should be based on learning process, not education process. Learning process motivate to learn the traditional education of family and society with modern education. Parents will get to their pupil in creative heritage with creative works. The modern agricultural officer will not only give theoretical knowledge of agriculture, but he will come to the farm with a spade and will show how modern farming technology can be done. Then there will not be any ill feeling of educated and uneducated. The education of learning process and the mindset of learning only will not create unemployment. It will be inspired to include the education of modern and traditional works. This feeling will arise that we have not only received education for government jobs.  When we get government jobs then we will get, but we will do something ourselves suited to the education we receive and will develop the constructive works of our family and the society honestly. 


There will be no neglected place for uneducated in the educated society, through the learning process of education the skills of coordination skills in modern and tradition works. Then the point of unemployment wills come from where.
