In a bid towards providing quality and fashionable wear for infants and mothers, Lee’s M&B (Mama and Baby boutique) clothing store was officially opened here in Dimapur on October 7.
Speaking during the launch, Dr Nicky Kire, Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs lauded the efforts made in establishing a new store meant for the benefit of the people.
He stated that for any business to flourish sincerity in work is important along with accountability.
Kire stressed on the need to show courtesy and politeness towards the customers coming into the store. “As the workers will generally determine the reputation of a business outlet, make sure to treat everyone with respect and dignity,” he noted.
Alila Pongen, a mother of four and store owner, explained that motherhood had inspired her to open the store. She mentioned that her products were sourced from retail outlets in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. “Most of the clothing items will not be restocked again once it is sold out so as to keep up with changing fashion trends,” she said. Her clothes were specifically targeted towards infants, young adults and mothers.
The store is located in a convenient location where parking space is available, she added. “10% of the profits will also be donated towards charity as I wanted to contribute something for social work.” Pongen also has an Instagram page where customers can order the products, shipped across India.
