Kohima, September 26 (MExN): Under the banner of ‘Letters Run,’ Konaei Shongdok has launched the book signing tour for second edition of his novel ‘Once Upon a Time in Kohima: A fictional novel based on Naga society’ at Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma on September 26.
“The whole purpose of the book signing tour is to reach out to the younger generation and encourage literature,” said the 23 year old author who holds a M.Sc. degree from the Nagaland University.
“It felt like home, refreshing and the young readers of the campus were receptive and welcoming,” Konaei said following the first signing tour in Kohima Science College where around 50-60 people turned up. He also hopes and roots for all forms of art and artists to bloom from the soil of KSCJ.
The book tour is expected to collaborate with the All Nagaland Students’ Union for a wider reach to different educational institutes. More details are expected to be released in the coming days.
The second tour will be held at Sazolie College, Jotsoma on September 28.
