Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): As a part of its civic endeavor and to show greater concern for the medical fraternity during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets and edible items to four hospitals in Dimapur on May 1 and 2.
According to a press release from LFI, the hospitals included District Hospital Dimapur, Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CISHR), Eden Hospital and Nikos Hospital. The team of 8 members firstly visited the District Hospital Dimapur where Dr Kevi and Dr Kezo received the packets on behalf of the hospital staff and also expressed their gratitude towards the LFI.
At CISHR, the items were received by the Medical Superintendent, Dr Clement Momin while at Eden Hospital, they were received by Dr Leena Sen. At Nikos Hospital, the team donated edible items which were received by Dr John Yeptho, Medical Officer, the release stated.
Earlier, the LFI team consisting of Karan Ghebring, Anoka William Yepthomi, Isaac Athili, Chothavelu Swuro, Supongbenla, Abigail Thapa, Norbert Kamei and Kutubuddin Singh were flagged off from the school campus by the Chairman LFI, Dr Andrew Ahoto and Director LFI, Ani Yepthomi, the release stated.
