NSS unit of LFIC held orientation for semester-1 students.
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 29 (MExN): The NSS unit of Livingstone Foundation International College held its orientation with semester-I on October 26. The programme was coordinated by the college NSS core unit.
A press release informed that the introductory note was graced by Maongkaba Aier (faculty representative NSS) Assistant Professor, Department of Education, and a brief keynote address was presented by Jemsungba Walling, Assistant Professor Department of English (NSS PO). In his address, Walling dwelt on the functionality, goals, and statutory bodies that comprise the NSS ecosystem.
LFIC Principal, Dr Behera spoke about the opportunity and prospects of being an NSS volunteer and shared the future missions for the NSS unit of Livingstone Foundation International College.
Earlier, Kedithil Tetso, Department of English (NSS media and communication), and Akhumse Sangtam, Department of Political Science (LFIC NSS President), exhibited the NSS song and special clap. Booklet and NSS badge were distributed to the students followed by a group photo.
