Longleng, August 2 (MExN): Li Ning 44th Inter District & State Open Badminton Championship will be held at Longleng district from August 22 to 27.
A press release received here stated that the total prize money will be Rs 3,62,000. Altogether, 14 categories will be played including: Under-9 Boys & Girls Singles, Under-11 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-13 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-15 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-17 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-19 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles/Mix Doubles, Senior Men & Women Singles/ Doubles/ Mix Doubles, Masters Doubles in 35+,40+,45+,50+,55+,60+ & 65+. Inter District Mix Team Championship will be for Juniors & Seniors only.
The last date of entry is August 18 and the draw for open categories will be done on August 20 at 4:00 pm. The tournament shuttlecock will be Li Ning A2 Feather Shuttle.
It also informed that the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022 for Badminton Event will be conducted at Longleng on August 26 and 27 for Senior Men & Women- Singles, Doubles, Mix Doubles and Mix Team Championship.
The last date of submission of players list is on August 6 and the draw will be on August 7.
