Dimapur, October 1 (MExN): The Liangmai community under the aegis of Liangmai Council Nagaland has expressed anguish over the alleged murder of Athuan Abonmai on September 22 in Tamenglong by armed miscreants.
Vehemently condemning the “inhumane and despicable act of brutality,” the LCN stated that such acts of savagery were intolerable and should be condemned by one and all. “The wound left by such blood thirsty scoundrels will remain a nightmare for a generation to come,” it stated while appealing the law enforcement agencies of the state to leave no stone unturned in investigating the matter and punishing the culprit.
It also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
