Liberal Democratic Party of Nagaland
The concept of liberal democracy could be a complete non existing entity, and based on the "reality accepting capacity" of the Nagas, may not even include in Nagas perspective of the elemental chart that gives sense and meaning to our way of life but just like how according to western knowledge, it has been proved that our earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa despite without our intelligent capacity to build our own telescope or sending a satellite in space to accept those facts, nonetheless the fact/truth still remains that our earth does revolve around the sun and that our sun is made up of Hydrogen atoms combining to form Helium atoms by means of nuclear fusion, during which vast amount of heat, light and radiation energy is released. With this in mind one can conclude that neither we Nagas nor anyone could directly challenge western knowledge based on the proofs that their researchers have gone through the trouble to find.
The history of the world speaks that in the affairs of the state, no other form of ideals like communism, dictatorship, fascism, monarchy etc. has managed to satisfy the people of the state as a just government. It has been the ideals of liberal democracy that has changed the course of history of any government from an oppressed deprived society to liberal, socialist-capitalist and rational society (Research on 'it' is recommended). It is also to be considered that they (liberal democrats) didn't just accomplish everything that their rationality led progress overnight, but after the inception with more reforms, even from the youth's logical perspective about a rational society, today they are the ones every developing nations look up to and yearn for.
Having understood, the pattern our Naga society keeps repeating and the hold of "Ignorance Backed Corruption" in our system, the few concerned young adult intellectuals concluded that without a rational cleansing of our Naga methods, to let run in our society, change in Nagaland is a far cry. Without this measure the present Nagas can simply accept that a change of great gravity is not possible in their lifetime because a few leaders themselves cannot change Nagaland with all their wisdom and flaws unless every or most people participate in politics in their own capacity because the undeniable fact is, politics affect not just the state but also our personnel lives.
The LDPN is much obliged with all the organizations who have taken the herculean responsibility to create legal awareness among various sections of people in the Naga society. We encourage them to further continue their great service for the society. We also thank the others who have taken the initiative of imparting 'Human norms' seminars to the people. Their hard work will never go in vain as, one "aware" Naga is a great asset for the Naga kind and as an Indian and as a Human.
The recent move in Nagaland's policy of development has really impressed the LDPN, when the DC of Dimapur announced that Dimapur is to receive garbage bins in and around the city, and to every household registered under the DMC. With the limited fund in our Sate's treasury, we understand of the difficulties any department would face to complete a long due project, considering the funds of the project being pocketed by the previous supervisors, nevertheless, it would be productive if the authorities in the departments would devise "not much costly" projects (doesn't include cheap components) to add for the welfare of the state. And any contribution would be great for the people on the ground that it would be the first.
It would be only for the best if the government takes the initiative to preserve and ensure the continuance of all the positive logical changes taking place today that every concerned Nagas has worked hard for, till today. They should set up a committee to work in hand with the State's representing "Human Rights" organizations to take legal measures against the extreme offenders so that people would not just be informed about it but also feel it and follow it. They should also implement work sensitivity programs in work places so that women and weak people wouldn't be bullied or abused by their employer. Anti-bullying campaign should be promoted even in schools like in the US. A help line or a complain line should be advertised in large billboards across the state so that people could be consciously aware about it's existence. The human rights activists must not just be a mere social worker but also should be committed in saving and protecting the weak and the innocent from the hands of the tyrants and ignorant bullies.
[Not to show off and endorse the party, but because Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a real thing that affects our conscious behavior and decision making, in life and make us less productive in the society.]
