It has been the endeavor of the GPRN/NSCN to rise above the seemingly fraudulent write-ups conjured by the co-called MIP at Hebron Camp. The degree of duplicity and deceitfulness incorporated into the system has all but invalidated their early efforts. Thanks to IM propaganda machine, the rightful pursuit of the Nagas has degenerated into a political sacrilege, blurring the common vision. Nagas would gladly march to Hebron camp and seek violent lessons if mindless violence could win freedom and sovereignty of a people. Alas, it doesn’t! Intimidation, terrorization and killing of Nagas in the name of national principle have never gone unnoticed. MIP at Hebron accusing GPRN/NSCN of hobnobbing with Assam Rifles is an old joke. The two Bullet Proof ambassador cars used by India’s Politicians stationed at Hebron Camp is enough proof of whose protection they are under. GPRN/NSCN knows the evil policies IM employs to hoodwink the Nagas. Ten years of barren peace talks and even after its collapse they talk of its decisiveness at every round. How long shall the Naga brethren dance to the same old violent music? To oppose tooth and nail the unity and reconciliation of the Nagas is a futile exercise. It goes without saying as to who has drenched Nagaland with blood. This must stop immediately. The fatal injury caused to Mr. Vikashe Zhimo, a pharmacist, at Dimapur recently is another tell-tale sign of the grim reality underneath their high sounding tone of tolerance and reconciliation among the Nagas.
Patkai Christian College remains a premier educational institution in Nagaland. If IM has any positive vision for the future Naga generations, why has its surrounding area turned into transit camps? PCC imparts education to thousands of Naga youngsters and presently degree examinations are going on. The constant presence of fully armed IM cadres around PCC has caused great distress to students and parents alike. It is a fact that many parents have pulled out their children from this reputed institution. Who is to blame? Sadly the state machinery appears to be equally lethargic about the danger posed by IM boys to students and public of the area. The deliberate policy to strike at the very foundation of Naga future is unmistakable.
The MIP at Hebron frantically scrambles for moral and ethical values in their every write-up to justify their crime committed upon the innocent Nagas. There is no greater political blunder than to desecrate the very ground one claim to stand for. Crediting RAW of India for unification of Naga brothers is a childish assumption and most bizarre. It is rather an insult to conscience-driven Nagas. Labeling Naga Unification as ‘counterfeit’ only suggests the erosion of moral fiber within IM. As uncomfortable as it may sound to IM, what happened on 22nd Dec.2007 at Hovishe Village is a comprehensive victory for Nagas who desire oneness of body, soul and spirit in our great struggle. Nagas have overcome the initial misleading statements of IM which created doubt and apprehension amongst the Nagas. Political stagnation necessitates regeneration in every age and era; Nagas cannot remain immune to change when precious blood flows thick and unabated. The urge to stop shedding innocent Naga blood and reconciliation among the Naga national workers is the demand of the people. It matters little whether the light of Naga Unification permeates into to the Nagas through the back door, front door, rear window or through the roof. Naga people will not grope in the dark anymore. This is the promise of GPRN/NSCN to all Nagas everywhere.
