Phek, October 12 (MExN): Livelihood and career guidance cum free medical camp was held at Chetheba Town Council Hall, Phek on October 11. The programme was organised by Phek Police in collaboration with Chakhesang Students’ Union and PHC Chetheba, stated a DIPR report.
Speaking at the programme, SP Phek, Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS shared insights into diverse career opportunities. Dr Kaur called upon the young generation to stay away from drugs and other harmful substances. She also urged them to embrace themselves to hard work and dedicate for a bright future.
MGN Fellowship, Sahil, while speaking on livelihood, shared comprehensive knowledge about various government schemes programs introduced for students. Salim also highlighted on the advantages of Self Help Groups (SHG). He also shared specialized schemes catering to the elderly people/population.
Simultaneously, a free medical camp, led by MO PHC Chetheba, Dr Zasheveyi Curhah, was organised, in which attendees were offered essential health care services. CSU, President Avezo Kevin Kapu who presided the programme also encouraged the students to channel their efforts into meaningful pursuits and to contribute positively to society.
