Mokokchung, June 26 (MExN): Movement of light motor vehicles (LMV) will be allowed to pass through Changtongya-Longleng stretch from 6AM- 6PM with ‘immediate effect’ in view of the partial clearance of the landslide debris on National Highway H-702, informed a travel advisory by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji on June 26.
The drivers of LMVs, meanwhile, were advised to exercise utmost caution while passing through the affected area and avoid taking this route at the time of bad weather/foggy conditions/heavy rainfall.
It must be noted here that on June 20, the State DIPR reported that movement of LMV will be allowed to pass through Changtongya-Longleng stretch from 6AM- 6PM from June 21 however, heavy vehicles were restricted until further notice.
