2011 children bible crusade

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN):
The ‘2011 Children Crusade Tatempang Sentep Sentong’ organised by Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo Town Fellowship that began on July 11 concluded today. Nearly 200 children participated in the three day crusade. Akum Amri, Director Ebenezer Orphanage Home and Asenla, Women Leader Aoyimkum were the resource persons during the crusade. During the three days, children took part in different activities. They were divided into four groups- Batman house, Spiderman house, Ben 10 house and Superman house. On the closing day, testimonies and crusade experiences were shared by Imlinaro, Imnasangla, Wainunsang and Jangyukala. The crusade was a part the Christian Education Ministry for junior members of the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo Town Fellowship, Dimapur.  

KDVA meeting on July 13

Kohima District Volleyball Association has called an executive meeting of office bearers on July 13 at 3.00 pm at conference hall, Congress Bhavan, Kohima. During the meeting important issues and matters will be discussed. All the concerned members are requested to attend the meeting.

JEE 2011 successful candidates informed

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN):
The JEE candidates provisionally selected for various Engineering Degree courses during 2011 – 2012 session are requested to attend a counseling session on July 20, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Directorate of Technical Education. A press note issued by A.Kathipri, Director stated that candidates who failed to attend the counseling will forfeit their choice of posting. Meanwhile, a separate note issued by Chipakhuyi Rhakho, Secy Education, Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) informs to all the bonafide Naga students who passed out from Joint Entrance Test examination 2011 in different discipline to produce their photostat copy of educational document and other related documents to authenticate their indigenousness as Nagas to the office of the Naga Students Federation on or before July 31, 2011.

One pulsar Bike 180 CC, black colour, engine No. GBBK 00798 and chassis No.MO2DHDKZZTCK 00644 is under the custody of the NSCN/GPRN (IM) Operation Acceleration Dimapur Town Command office. Thus, the rightful owner is requested to collect the same by producing genuine documents within ten days from the Operation Acceleration  Dimapur Town Command office. NCP clarifies

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN): The Nagaland State Unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has clarified on the purportedly statement of one Mhonchuim R Jami Lotha on being a state secretary since 2001 stating that he was “ignorant of party rules” and that with a new state President it was in his (new president) prerogative to install a new team. State NCP General Secretary Maithou Krose in a rejoinder said that as and when the chief minister term gets over the whole cabinet goes away and a new team has to be installed after a new chief minister gets inducted. He added that so is also the case with the party and when the former president who was a legislator deflected to the NPF a new team was inducted. He also said that the party will no longer entertain petty politics.

Wall magazine display competition

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN):
The cadets of class IX of Sainik School, Punglwa staged a wall magazine display on International Organizations on Thursday July 7.  The display was presented by various groups of cadets, each group choosing their theme on different International Organisations and explained through colourful chart presentation. The colourful presentation included UNO, International Red Cross Society, ILO, UNICEP Henminlal, Asst. Master, guided the cadets. Principal of the school Col R Alagarraj greeted the cadets and said such participative learning by taking interest in such colourful displays could be a great opportunity of learning outside the class room by the cadets.

Wokha DPDB Meeting postponed

Wokha, July 13 (DIPR):
The proposed DPDB Meeting of Wokha district could not be held on July 11 due to unavoidable circumstances. Parliamentary Secretary for Geology & Mining and Chairman DPDB Wokha, Y. Patton has convened the meeting on July 15 at DC’s Conference Hall. He also requested all the members to attend the meeting positively.

Zheri Youth Organization informs

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN):
The 2nd Phase Photo Identity Card for Zheri Khel (Z. Khel) will be held on July 21 and 22 for those eligible voters who have not taken photo in the 1st Phase. They are informed to come and avail the 2nd Phase of photo session at Zheri Panchayat Hall. This was informed in a press release issued by Zheri Youth Organization Information & Publicity, Nongozol Pucho.

The Zheri Youth Organization has informed that the 2nd Phase Photo Identity Card for Zheri Khel (Z. DVC general meeting held

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN):
The Diphupar Village general public meeting was held on July 9 at the Diphupar Village Council (DVC) hall. DVC secretary Lanutoshi in a press release informed that the meeting accepted the reports from general secretary, VDB secretary, audit, Diphupar Naga Youth Organisation, Diphupar Naga Women Organisation and Diphupar Naga Students’ Union. The meeting also adopted various resolutions for development activities and welfare in the best interest of the general public implementation.

IDSMT market tenants told to clear rent

Kohima, July 13 (MExN):
Reiterating to its earlier order No. KMC/IDSMT/MAR-01/2011/7932, Dt. Kma, the 25th July August 2011, all the tenants of IDSMT Market, Kohima are asked to clear all the outstanding room rent within 7 days from the ate of issue of this notice, failing which their room allotment shall be automatically cancelled and thereafter no complain whatsoever shall be entertained. This notification has been made through a press release issued by KMC Administrator, Alun Hangsing.
