ENCFD get together on May 8
Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): With the permission and consultation of ENSA, the first ever get together of the Easter Naga (Nagas of Myanmar) Christian Fellowship Dimapur (ENCFD) will be held on May 8 at 2:00 pm. Therefore, all concern eastern Nagas particularly those who are in and around Dimapur are requested to attend the fellowship and for detail information and venue contact 09856787404. The Eastern Naga tribes are Konyak, Khiamniungan, Somra, Para, Makury, Tangsang and Lainong. This was informed in a press release issued by ENSA general secretary Y. Khomong.
Tuensang DPDB meeting on May 11
Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): Tuensang District Planning and Development Board meeting for the month of May will be held on May 11 at 11:00 am in the DC Tuensang Conference Hall. All district planning and development board members/HoDs Tuensang district are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting positively.
FGN Pochury Region superseded suspension order
Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): According to a press statement issued by Federal Government of Nagaland Pochury Region, Secretary S. Robert Perry, one Wilson Katiry son of Kekhwetelo Katiry of Matikhtu Village has been seeking for forgiveness towards the Pochury Region FGN. The press statement informed that the house duly accepted and superseded suspension order and reinstate Wilson Katiry on April 30. Therefore, he is asked to maintain better cooperation and good understanding with the authorities and other colleagues also to be faithful and loyally in any activities of the Pochury Region, FGN in the near future.
NNC Lotha Region condemns
Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): The NNC Lotha Region in a press note has condemned “the voice of cessesionist group of NNC led by Kiumukum and Kumcho for their wishful allegation” against some competent officials namely, I. Panger Walling, Working President and V. Nagi General Secretary NNC respectively. The note appended by Yilow Humtsoe, Vice-President. NNC, Lotha Region stated that presently they are falsely alleging one after another to sabotage the good image of dedicated National Workers as to take undue advantage in the behest of NNC authority. “They always talk about suspension/removal as if they are above the NNC’s yehzabo (Constitution). Whereas, the subject matter of removal or suspension will be decided by the Yehzabo itself as and when the concerned members violates the Yehzabo as it was done earlier on 29th of March 2011 by the house with majority not less than two third members of the house on ground of misuse of NNC general fund by the offenders,” Humtsoe added. Further, he stated that no one is above the Yehzabo, so let the Yehzabo take its course of action upon any offenders for the interest of the Naga integrity, despites of making allegations at each other to misguide the Nagas in general.
