Counseling for technical courses on May 17

Dimapur, May 6 (MExN):
The department of technical education will be organising counseling for technical courses like engineering, medical, tourism and hotel management etc on May 17 at 11:00 am at Don Bosco higher Secondary School, Kohima for class 12 since and arts stream (appeared/passed out). Additional Director & HOD, A Kathipri in a press release has invited all interested candidates to attend the counseling. Representatives of universities and institutions will be available for the counseling.

NSAMB board of directors meeting on May 10

Dimapur, May 6 (MExN):
The 2nd meeting of the board of directors of Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board (NSAMB) for the year 2011 will beheld on May 10 at Agriculture Directorate Conference hall from 11:00 am. NSAMB Secretary & CEO C. Mozhu in a press release has requested all the members of the board to attend the meeting positively.  

Pensioner’s physical verification from May 10

Dimapur, May 6 (MExN):
All the pensioners, both live and family, drawing pension from the Senior Treasury Office Kohima (South) are informed that physical verification will be held from May 10 to 31 at the office of the Senior Treasury Office, Kohima (South) during normal office hours. All the pensioners are therefore, requested to appear for the physical verification within the stipulated date, failing which their pension will be ceased. This was informed in a press release issued by Yapangla Jamir, STO Kohima (South Treasury) Kohima.

Sale of alcohol banned in Chumu

Dimapur, May 6 (MExN):
The Chumukedima Town Council informs all public that sale of alcohol within Chumukedima jurisdiction is strictly banned. CTC chief advisor in a press release further informs that in the interest and welfare of the public notifies all land and building owners within the stretch of National Highway that all temporary structures, ghumty shops, temporary sheds should be removed, dismantle within 7 days from the date of issue of this notification. Violator (s) will be strictly dealt with as per provision of law, informed the release.

STKK prayer May 10

Kohima, May 6 (MExN):
The Suruhoto Tokukujo Kuqhakulu Kohima, (STKK) prayer fellowship will be held on 10 May at 16.00 hrs at the residence of its Banker Er.Vetokhu Yeptho. Director Veterinary & AH informs

Kohima, May 6 (MExN):
The National courses conducted by the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (Deemed University) Izatnagar are going to commenced from 1st July for the session 2011-12. Dr.L.S Moses, Director of Veterinary & AH has informed that any interested in-service veterinarian may contact the extension section of the Directorate of Veterinary & AH Nagaland, Kohima for detail information.

Khing condoles demise of DHO Phek

Kohima, May 6 (MExN):
Parliamentary Secretary, Horticulture, R.Khing expressed shocked over the sudden death of Late. Imyulapdang and his wife, District Horticulture officer, Phek on 2nd May who died in an accident while on his way to his headquarter Phek after attending official work at horticulture Directorate. Khing, in his condolence message stated “Imyulapdang as I know of him was a very sincere, humble, hardworking and tolerant officer”, adding that during his illustrious career, he served the department in different capacities and his demise, the department lost a working officer, stated Khing. Meanwhile, he also expressed his disbelief to learn the untimely demise of Late Kikasungba, Horticulture, Extension Assistant, Peren in a mobile accident. He extended his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families and prayed that almighty God to rest their souls in peace.
