DSW informs on selection of Anganwadi workers

Kohima, May 8 (MExN):
The Directorate of Social Welfare, Kohima informed that call letter issued for written test/viva voice for selection of Anganwadi workers for promotion to the post of supervisor under the department of social welfare Nagaland vide office letter No. SW/ICDS-6/99/2336 dated 21.4.11 is hereby postponed due to unavoidable circumstance. The date and time for conducting written test and viva voice for the same will be informed in due course of time, the director Nochet Aier said in a circular received here today. The inconvenience is regretted, the release added.

State to observe International Nurses’ Day

Kohima, May 8 (MExN):
Nagaland along with the rest of the country will be observing International Nurses’ Day on May 12 under the theme “Closing the gap: Increasing access and equity.” In the state capital, the Trained Nurses’ of Indian, Local Branch Kohima would observe the occasion at 12:00 noon at New Building Complex, Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima. Kaisa Rio, lady wife of Chief Minister, Nagaland will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The function will be chaired by Senchumbeni. Vice president , TNAI, Local Branch Kohima while lighting of lamp will be done by Amongla, deputy director, nursing, Vikeyiekhole, principal tutor, school of nursing, NHAK will brief the theme while vote of thanks will be propose by R. Ayangla, general secretary TNAI, Local Branch Kohima.

PWD SDO’s meeting deferred to May 14

Dimapur, May 8 (MExN):
A consultative meeting of PWD Sub-Divisional Officer’s which was convened on May 13 at Hotel Saramati conference hall, Dimapur at 11:00 am has been deferred to May 14 due to unavoidable reason. Time and venue for the meet shall remain the same. A press note issued by Er. K Kheshito, convenor stated, “All the members are requested to attend the meeting, to discuss with regard to non sitting of Department Promotion Committee (DPC) in the department of PWD Works and Housing Nagaland.”

Kohima DEO informs

Kohima, May 8 (MExN):
The District Education Officer, Kohima has informed all principals, headmasters of all Government/Private higher secondary schools/high schools under Kohima district to forward any deserving teachers for awarding state award for 2011-12 on or before May 10, 2011 to the DEO office, Kohima. Necessary information can be collected from the office of the DEO Kohima during office hour. This was stated in a release issued by Kohima DEO Zaveyi Nyekha.
