Winners of the Bengali Champions League Lokenath Warrior.
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 8 (MExN): Lokenath Warrior defeated Royal Academy by 7 wickets at the final of the Bengali Champions League organised by the Dimapur Bengali Students Union.
Suman from Lokenath Warrior won the Purple Cap of the tournament while Tilak from the same team won the Organge Cap. The man of the series was Jalal Uddin Laskar of Lokenath Warrior.
Pintu M Ghosh, Spokesperson, BJP Nagaland graced the closing ceremony of the league. He encouraged the gathering to be motivated and aim to become and good sportspersons.
Ghosh meanwhile applauded the Dimapur Bengali Student’s Union for giving such a platform to the youth of Dimapur. He also acknowledged the union for their contributions at the time of the pandemic, where the union had operated a quarantine centre for more than six months.
