Sub: Anti-National activities committed by NSCN (IM) Cadres
Sir,
On the subject cited above we the undersigned have the honour to state the following facts for your kind information and necessary action please.
1. That on 30th Jan. 2013 at around 7:00 P.M. one NSCN (IM) Cadre named Lanulemba Corporal No. 40519 S/o. Mayangmeren Longkhum with two civilians came to Longkhum village and fired 3 (three) rounds of bullet in the heart of Longkhum village while the council meeting was on progress thereby threatening and causing panic to the villagers.
2. That on 2nd Feb. 2013 at 1:30 A.M Mr. Lanulemba and Imdangtiba Corporal of Changtongya village came to Longkhum village with four (4) pistols and threatened some of the villagers. As a result, the villagers caught the two cadres and handed them over to the Longkhum Village Council. The village council while interrogating the two accused, confessed that they carried out their activities under the direction of Maj. Bendangyanger (Chungtia Village), Mokokchung Town Command and Mr. P. Lipok Jamir (Longkhum Village).
3. That on 12th Feb. 2013 at 3.00 A.M around 15 NSCN (IM) cadres fully armed with sophisticated weapons, came to the house of Mr. Katemsangba, Barrick of Longkhum Village and abducted him along with his son Mr. Imrongzulu. After much interrogation and physiological torture, Mr. Katemsangba was released but his son is still in the custody of the NSCN (IM).
That such activity is not only Anti- National and a direct violation of Human Rights but also against the Law of the land.
Therefore, we expect your authority to look into the matter with top most priority and take necessary action, failing which we would be compelled to take our own course of action.
