The Lotha Region NNC has opposed the forth coming Election 2013 because Naga is not Indian and is not under the constitution of India. In 1947 Nagas has declared independence one day ahead of India and in 1952 and 1957 the NNC has opposed/condemned two times Indian election because Nagas has nothing to do with Indian election it gives only benefits to India, rather it only bring hatred/killing/enmity among the Nagas society and also blocked the Nagas future because in 18th February 2004 the Naga Reconciliation was stopped by the DAN Government by imposing (Curfew) that makes the NNC workers to keep mum and in this connection on March 2004, twenty (20) elders of NNC at Wokha District were arrested and sent to jail and some has died because of the case. Further, the 18th Feb 2004 ancident will never be forgotten and The Lotha Region NNC senior most strongly opposed/reject 2013 Indian Election.
