Kohima, August 26(MExN): Lower Tsiepfü Tsiepfhe union (LTTU) has notified to all the concerned that following revocation of TTC partial restriction order vide Resolution No. 15 dated 31.10.2011 “restriction for selling wine after 7.00 pm for total implementation of Nagaland Liquor Total prohibition 1994, a joint meeting of the LTTU, Lower Tsiepfü Tsiepfhe Women Union (LTTWU), Lower Tsiepfü Tsiepfhe Youth organization (LTTYO) was convened on July 31 and unanimously reaffirmed to enforce the LTTU standing prohibition order on Sale of Liquor/Modhu including Gutkhas and other banned intoxicated items within the colony. A press note issued by its president, Zapove and general secretary, Atu-U stated that the house resolved that anybody defying this notification shall attract surprise check or raid at anytime under prohibition act.
Dr Shurhozelie to grace ANCSU confernce today
Kohima, August 26 (MExN): Minister for urban development and higher education Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu will grace the inaugural session of the 15th biennial general conference of All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) on August 27 from 9:55 onwards at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama.
Kelhouneizo Yhome, president Naga Students’ Federation and Dr. P.S. Lorin, president, Nagaland College Principals Forum will also deliver short message. The function will be chaired by O. Wati Jamir, former president ANCSU. Release of ANCSU will also mark the function.

In this connection, all concerned have been requested to use one way on August 27 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Only upward vehicle be allowed).
Clarification on news item
Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): A clarification has been issued in regard to the news item published in local dailies where one ‘SS’ Sectional Officer of NNC identified as Katoho Achumi, 24 years, S/o- Tovishe Achumi from Yezashi Village, Zunheboto and a resident of Padampukhuri, Dimapur was arrested by Police for extortion on August 24, 2011.
The clarification note stated that the arrested person should not be confused with Katoho Achumi, 28 years, S/o- Tovishe Achumi, Village- Aotsakali, Atoizu subdivision, Zunheboto, resident of Purana Bazar, Dimapur. A note issued by the above said person stated that coincidentally the arrested person happened to have the same name and father name which has caused disrepute and confusion among people known to him. He further stated, “As a businessman, such publicity is harmful for my career for no fault of mine.”
