Kohima, May 20 (MExN): Lhisemia Youth Organisation (LYO) of Kohima Village has informed of its guidelines which have been in force for long, adding they will be strictly enforced in L. Khel ancestral jurisdiction.
A press release from LYO president, Khriesazo Liezietsu stated that sale of alcohol is prohibited. “Hefty fine will be imposed followed by exile from L. Khel jurisdiction for repeated offence,” it asserted.
LYO also reminded that engaging “illegal Bangladeshi immigrants” in any form of service is prohibited. Penalty for the offence is Rs.10, 000/-.
Further reminding that hunting, fishing, collection of firewood and other natural resource is prohibited, it said offenders will be penalised as per existing rule under different categories.
“Engaging in immoral activities at any time within the jurisdiction will invite stern disciplinary action,” the press release noted.
It further informed that any organisation/ club/ church etc. planning to hold Sales Day under L. Khel jurisdiction must avail permission from the LYO. Offenders will be penalised, the youth organisation cautioned. Colony/area youth organisation under L. Khel ancestral jurisdiction have been informed to enforce the above guidelines in their respective colonies/areas.
