Peren, September 14 (MExN): Maj Gen RS Guraya, VSM CoS 3 Corps & Chairman Local Board of Administration made farewell visit to Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) on September 14.
A press release from the school stated that the officer was received by Gp Capt RK Yadav, Principal, SSP. A welcome address was delivered by Lt Col Leena Bajaj, Vice Principal, SSP. The Cadets presented a cultural extravaganza in honour of the visiting officer.
The Principal in his address thanked the Officer for his support and guidance to the school during his tenure. Highlights on school activities, infrastructure and different projects taken up by the school were shown through powerpoint presentation.
Maj Gen in his speech encouraged the staff and cadets to live out the dreams of the school to its fullest. He also encouraged the cadets to work hard towards achieving their aims in life and to have healthy competition amongst themselves.
