Major fire damages property in Peren town

Peren, March 1 (MExN): A major fire broke out at Ndining Colony, Peren Town, near local ground. The fire, believed to have started at around 11:00 pm burnt down two-storey timber building consisting of seven rooms and three rooms of timber kitchen. Reulak Rangkau, the owner of the building reported it to be at rent. The report also suggested that two cylinders exploded and no property could be salvaged. 

Meanwhile, according to the DIPR report, district Taxes Office, Peren was completed gutted in the fire that broke out from the ground floor at 11:00 pm on February 28. District Statistical Office and Sericulture office, located next to Taxes office were also damaged. Reuliak Rangkau is the owner of the offices buildings. The fire was brought under control with the help of the public, police and army. Police investigation is going on to ascertain the cause of the fire.
