DIMAPUR, JANUARY 19 (MExN): Dimapur Police discovered the body of a man near Hotel Output in the Super Market area on January 17. The deceased, identified as Gopal, approximately 35 years old, was found lying dead at the location. Medical records found near the body helped ascertain his identity.
Preliminary investigations suggest the cause of death may have been due to starvation and illness, a press release from the Dimapur Police informed. After conducting an inquest and completing legal formalities, the body was sent to the District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and further identification.
The deceased was described as wearing a blue sweater, a grey t-shirt, black pants, and white slippers. He also had old stitch marks on his right forehead.
