Manipur CM reviews 100 days action plan

Newmai News Network Imphal | June 6   To ensure timely completion of various developmental projects taken up by different government departments under the 100 days action plan programme, a review meeting was today held at Chief Minister's Secretariat. The review meeting was chaired by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.   The meeting discussed the status and progress of the various developmental projects being undertaken by different departments under the 100 days programme of the new government.   Chief Minister Biren instructed that already indentified developmental works should be completed on time. He also asked all the Administrative Secretaries and Head of Departments to submit the progress and development of works on a daily basis to CM's office.   Action plan taken up under the 100 days programme include among others providing free wi-fi in public areas, connecting District Headquarters under SWAN to enable video conferencing facilities, Jeewan Praman for Pensioners, launching of Manipur Journalist Board, medical insurance schemes for Journalists of the State etc.   Later, a review meeting on action plan taken up under the "State Mission on Employment, Drinking Water and Housing for All by 2022" was also held.   Cabinet Ministers and officials who participated in today's meeting are Y. Joykumar Singh, Th. Biswajit, L. Jayantakumar Singh, Th. Radheshyam, Nemcha Kipgen, Th. Shyamkumar, N. Kayasii, Addl. Chief Secretary Shambhu Singh, Addl. Chief Secretary Suresh Babu, Addl. Chief Secretary Dr. Suhel Aktar, Secretaries, Commissioners and Head of Departments of various departments attended the review meeting.
