With the idea to celebrate the different talents of children through the medium of art, music, language art, drama, dance etc, the 6th annual function of The Maple Tree was held on December 10 at the School Compound. The Gala programme reflected a unique blend of innate talents of school students in extracurricular and academic activities.
The students warmed up a wintry evening performing to an appreciative crowd at the school’s 6th annual function. The children ooze charisma and potential getting into character for a potpourri of entertaining performances that ranged from guitar and piano instrumentals to martial arts demonstration and choral singing to percussions (bucket drumming) and language arts presentation.
The highlights of the function were Choir presentation, Instrumental-Piano and Guitar Activities Group, Ten Little Indians, A gift to you, Little warriors and Bollywood dance by Early programme, Bucket Drumming by Drum Activities Group, They don’t really care about us a song by VPA Music Group, Fusion dance by Dance Activities Group, MMA demonstration by MMA Activities Group, Language arts presentation, Hindi Unity in diversity, French Le Monde Francais, Chinese Tong Hua fairy Tale song, I want to break free song by Grade 2, Evolution of dance by Grade 2, Alladin a play by the VPA Drama Group.
Other highlights of the event were bonfire, snacks and sale of children art and craft.
