MARCOFED Kma receives award

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): The 93rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Nagaland State Cooperative Marketing & Consumers’ Federation (MARCOFED) Ltd was held on April 1, 2011 in the office chamber of the chairman C.L John Konyak, MLA.
The day long discussions were mainly on the revamping programme of the federation to be taken up with the financial assistance granted by the state government during the year 2010-11, business plan and policies of the organization and wiping out the long outstanding bad debts and unwanted debts for the revival of the organization.
A press note issued by Remomo Lotha, managing director, MARCOFED informed that the chairman urged the Board of Directors to work united and cooperate with the present DAN government under the dynamic leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minster of Nagaland, who is also Minister in charge for finance.
He also highlighted the important works that has done during his chairmanship for the past two years and assured that he will carry out the same ambition without any hesitation.
He further expressed his happiness and confidence over the MARCOFED LPG distribution centre Kohima for getting appreciation certificate from the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd as the 2nd Best Indane Distributor with more than 5000 refill sales category under Tinsukia
Integrated Indane area during the year 2010-11. All the district representatives except for Mon and Wokha attended the meeting.
