Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): In response to the public ‘clarification and apology’ issued by Huzo Meru, the Western Angami Catholic Union (WACU) today informed and requested the “public to put this matter to rest for good and not to bring it up again in future, either in words or in writings of any kind.” In a press statement issued by its advisor, WACU informed that “our sentiments and those of every Catholic were hurt by negative reference made in the past,” at Peducha on February 2, 2013. However, having met Huzo Meru and after getting his clarification and apology on February 13, 2013, WACU pointed out that the “matter was amicably resolved in true Christian love and forgiveness.”
