Dimapur, May 8 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Private Transport Association (MDPTA) an association comprising of Pick-Up Truck Union, Mokokchung, Mokokchung District Truck Owner Association, All Nagaland Taxi Association Mokokchung Zone and the Mokokchung District Private Bus Association, bitterly condemns the murder of Pick-Up truck driver Anwar at Techipami Village. This was stated in a press note issued by Senti Ao, President, MDPTA and Noklen, General Secretary, MDPTA.
MDPTA in the note said that it is shocked and dismayed by this barbaric act and request all right thinking citizens to condemn such inhumane act. Looking by the present scenario in the neighboring district, the MDPTA has decided to abstain by going outside of the district until a foolproof assurance is given by the state government and therefore it said that any transport vehicles may venture out of the district at their own risk.
The MDPTA also sated that it would closely follow the court proceedings against Dilio Bahadur and will not be restrained to take further steps if the verdict is not satisfactory and urgent the esteemed authority to fulfill the demanding PTUM at the earliest.
