Kohima, November 23 (DIPR): A two-day Media Workshop on Climate Change will be held in Kohima, Nagaland from November 28-29. The aim of the workshop is to discuss the impact of climate change on biodiversity hotspots in India with repercussion on agriculture and rainfall and other aspects of the area.
The workshop is being jointly organized by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation's Indian Himalayas Climate Adaptation Programme (IHCAP), Nagaland State Climate Change Cell-Nagaland Science and Technology Council (NASTEC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of Nagaland and the Centre for Media Studies (CMS). The Programme is funded and catalyzed by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
