Medical service providers called to improve health care

WOKHA, JANUARY 27 (MExN): Re-strengthening meeting of medical officers, nurses and DPMU staff was held on January 18, 19 and 24 at the CMO conference hall.


Chief Medical Officer, Dr Robin Lotha and Dy CMO Dr Zuben Kikon called the meeting for improving health care service delivery.


The staffs were apprised to maintain regular attendance at their respective posting place, stated a press release from District Media Officer Mhonbeni Ezung.


Further, the staffs were also asked to submit monthly reports, take up Village Health & Nutrition Day activities and participate in creating awareness on health issues to the community.


Dr. Zuben Dy. CMO spoke on flagship programme activities. He also urged the staffs to be involved in the Gram Sabha representing the Department and submit theHealth Centre list of requirements on priority basis for inclusion in the Gram Sabha panchayat activities. Dr. Khelito DPO(RCH/UIP) also spoke on the upcoming Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization which will be held in the month of February 2019 in this regard she requested the Medical Officers to submit the micro-plan of their respective jurisdiction.
