Governor, CM to grace IRCSN ceremonial function Nagaland’s Governor PB Acharya and Chief Minister TR Zeliang will grace the ceremonial function of the 30th annual general meeting of Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch (IRCSN) on August 18, 11am at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima. Acharya and Zeliang, who are also president and vice president respectively of IRCSN will deliver presidential and vice presidential address respectively. Decoration of patrons and vice patrons will be done by Governor of Nagaland. IRCSN chairperson Abeni TCK will preside over the function.     Leo Club to celebrate Janmashtami Leo Club of Dimapur is celebrating Janmashtami on August 25 at the Lions Club premises in Midland, Dimapur from 5:30 pm. The event will include fancy dress competition for the age group of 1 to 6 years and 7 to 12. There will also be a dance competition under the theme 'Radha and Krishna' and 'Matki Phod' contest. All Ex-Parliamentarians of Nagaland are requested to bring suggestions and make it convenient to attend the said meeting.  

  PDNCSU general meeting The Phek District, Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) will hold its general meeting on August 25 at GA Rest House Conference Hall, Phek town. In this regard, a press release from the union has requested all the bona fide members to attend the meeting. The union also requested the members to update their membership ID cards for validation in Head Office of NCSU, Nagaland, Kohima. The office bearers of PDNCSU have also been requested to reach Phek town on August 24 by 11am.     Kohima Development Committee The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Rovilatuo Mor IAS has informed that the Kohima District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting will be held on August 18 at 11am in the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima under the chairmanship of MP (Lok Sabha), Neiphiu Rio. The meeting will review performance report of various schemes under the Ministry of Rural Development. In this connection, the members/Departments have been instructed to present their performance, status, progress reports on respective CSS flagship programmes in the meeting. All the members have also been requested to attend the meeting positively.
