ENCSU meeting today The Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) has requested all the tribal students’ unions of Eastern Nagaland based in Kohima and college representatives (from Eastern Nagaland) in Kohima to attend an emergency meeting on September 3, 12:00 noon at DUDA Guest House to discuss on the MBBS & BDS issue. The meeting will also decide on the second phase of agitation as “the government and the department had failed to fulfill ENCSU demands in a stipulate time,” according to a press release from ENCSU Joint Secretary, Nokchem Angth. RGHSS meeting with alumni The Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS), previously known as Government High School, Kohima, will celebrate its Platinum Jubilee on November 8, 2016 at the school premises with the theme "Igniting the sparks of change". The board of management, staff, and students of RGHSS have invited all the former staff and alumni of the school to come and participate in the celebration. Meanwhile, the principal and staff of the school will have a consultative meeting with the school alumni regarding the jubilee on September 3. The school has requested the alumni to be present at the meeting which will be held at 10:00 am at the Assembly Hall, RGHSS, Kohima. This was informed in a press note issued by Principal Lebu Krose.
