
ANCSU presidential meeting The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has informed all the units that there will be a presidential meeting on October 28, 10:00 am at NSF conference hall, Kohima. All the units are to attend the meeting with two representatives each positively, informed a press release from ANCSU publicity & information secretary, Imnameren N Jamir. Parliamentary Quiz & Youth Parliament contest The State level Parliamentary Quiz & Youth Parliament competition will be held on October 28 at ATI Imagine Hall, Kohima at 10:30 am. Minister for Social Welfare & Parliamentary Affairs, Kiyanilie Peseyie will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The Parliamentary Quiz will be conducted during the first morning session while the Youth Parliament competition will begin during the second session at 12:00 noon. Social work in Kohima Lhisemia Youth Organisation (LYO) is organising a social work on October 29 from Kohima Village gate (North P.S) main road till Rüleizou (I.G Stadium). The LYO has called upon its entire members to participate and also appealed to the denizens to clear any kind of materials brought and put on the roadside by the owners for smooth flow of traffic as well as for the greater good of public. Meeting with Kohima ward chairmen, political parties SDO (C) Sadar and ERO, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), Kethosituo Sekhose has informed that in view of the forthcoming Summary Revision of Electoral Roll for Kohima municipality, a meeting of all ward chairmen under KMC and presidents or representatives of all registered political parties has been convened, wherein the draft roll will be distributed to the respective wards and political parties and training on use of forms for inclusion, deletion and modification will also be imparted. Therefore, all ward chairmen along with their secretaries, district presidents and secretaries of all registered political parties have been requested to attend the meeting in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on October 31 at 2:00 pm positively. Training for drivers in Phek All Nagaland Government Drivers’ Association (ANGDA), Phek unit has convened training on November 1 at DPDB Hall, DC office, Phek, organized by the district administration. Therefore, ANGDA Phek unit president and general secretary in a press release have requested all drivers posted in Phek HQ/sub-division to attend the training. NPF Phek executive meeting Chivotso Nienu, President, NPF Phek division has convened a divisional executive meeting on November 3, 2:00 pm at Hotel Japfü. Therefore, all divisional office bearers, five legislators, Central office bearers, three representatives from divisional youth, women & farmers wing, CEC members, and all five area unit presidents have been requested to attend the meeting.
