Meghalaya COVID related death toll crosses 100

Shillong, November 14 (NNN): The death toll due to coronavirus related diseases crossed the 100-mark in Meghalaya after 2 more persons succumbed to the infection on Saturday. Meanwhile, the state has recorded 51 new cases  and 63 new recoveries on Saturday. The new cases include 24 from East Khasi Hills district, 11 Ri Bhoi district, 7 West Garo Hills district, 3 South Garo Hills district, 2 East Jaintia Hills district, 2 West Jaintia Hills district, 1 South West Garo Hills district and 1 East Garo Hills district. 

63 persons who recovered from the infection include 20 from West Garo Hills, 20 Ri Bhoi, 9 East Jaintia Hills, 7 East Garo Hills, 3 East Khasi Hills, 3 South West Garo Hills and 1 West Jaintia Hills. The state has detected a total of 10,632 COVID-19 out of which 1,014 are active cases, 9,518 recovered and 100 deaths.
