Kohima, August 13 (MExN): The Mengujuma Students Union (MSU) conducted its annual felicitation ceremony for academic excellence with Pelesavi Rürhie, former vice, president, Angami Students’ Union (ASU) as the speaker on August 12.
Speaking on the occasion, Pelesavi Rürhie said that competitive exams is not the only the platform to judge one’s talent but also to test one’s management and planning skills as real relationship between age and chance of success is limited.
Referring to use of mobile phone, Rürhie said, with the era of advanced technology, we all are spending more of our time in the digital world. Our minds are now controlled by technology and it is ruling on our lives. In this, he stressed on the need to wisely use the mobile phone.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by MSU president Mezhülhoubei Sechü while welcome address was delivered by MSU secretary Viketoulie Sechü. MSU statistical report was presented by Rokongulie Kuotsu. Medovino Sechü spoke on behalf of the successful students while vote of thanks was delivered by MSU, vice president, Kepelhoukho Mor.
