
Kohima, January 26 (MExN): The Mengujuma village celebrated 54th Rüpfhünuo Day on January 25 at Mengujuma village in Kohima district.
Speaking on the occasion, Mengujuma village council chairman Vitsalhou Kesiezie called upon the villagers to stay united and work in unison for the welfare and all round development of the village. He also stressed on the need uphold the good legacy of the forefathers and keep their invaluable contributions and wisdom intact. Neigwetuo Mor, Head GB Mengujuma village also exhorted the gathering.
The programme was chaired by Mengujuma Village Council, Vice Chairman Ketoulhoukho Kuotsu while welcome address was delivered by Keneingulie Secü, Secretary. Mengujuma village council.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Mengujuma Village Council, Treasurer Neisakholie Secii. Lhourovi Seyie, senior pastor Mengujuma Baptist Church and Rev Dr Kecha Seyie, chairman ACRC prayed for the programme. The programme was followed by a community feast.
