DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 10 (MExN): Nagaland defeated Sikkim today in the Men’s Under 23 One Day Trophy at Bhubaneshwar.
Sikkim won the toss and elected to bat first managing to score 204 runs in 50 overs, having lost 8 wickets. Md Shahbaz from Sikkim scored a century (111 runs) while Parth scored 28 runs.
For Nagaland Joshua, Akavi and Vaibhav took two wickets each.
Nagaladn meanwhile managed to reach the target by scoring 206 runs, losing 8 wickets in 48.3 overs. Vivek was Nagaland’s top scorer with 74 runs, followed by Joshua with 62 runs. Harit, with 3 wickets, was the pick of the bowlers for Sikkim.
