Mokokchung, April 30 (MExN): A seminar on Mental Health was held at Builders Hostel, Salangtem Ward, Mokokchung as a part of its extracurricular activities on April 28. Alemzungla Longkumer, Clinical Psychologist, District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) was the resource person at the seminar. During the same, Alemzungla brought awareness of different mental illnesses such as Major Depression Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Delusional Disorder and various others, along with their symptoms. She also highlighted the present scenario of Mental Health in Mokokchung. A press release stated that through the seminar, the students learnt how to identify if they or others around them are suffering with a mental health problem and how to get help without feeling ashamed, knowing that everyone suffers from such problem at some point of time.
