MGM HSS sports meet underway

The chief guest taking salute from the march past contingent.

DIMAPUR, MARCH 11 (MExN): The MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur organised its 35th annual sports meet at the school premises. 

Amit Kumar, IPS, Officer in Charge of Diphupar Police Station graced the event as the chief guest. In his speech, the chief guest encouraged the students to participate in games and sports in order to have a young and healthy mind.

Invocation prayer was pronounced by teacher Erenbeni. Headmaster, B Paul delivered the welcome address while the vote of thanks was proposed by the principal Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese.

Students from four houses participated in the march past which was followed by an oath taking and the chief guest declared the sports meet 2020 open. The 4 days event will conclude on March 14 at SEWAK ground.
