Dimapur, November 12 (MExN): MGOS Church, Midland celebrated its patron saint's feast on November 10 and 11 with procession, devotional address and Holy Communion.
The Chief Celebrant Reverend Fr VJ Oommen from Kerala exhorted the gathering by speaking about the life of Saint Parumala Mar Gregarious. He described him as a ‘mirror for generations,’ and said he is like a sign board for the coming generations.
On Saturday evening, a candle light procession from the Church to PWD junction was held. On Sunday, Holy Communion and procession was held. Malayalees from Kohima, Jorhat, Tinsukia and interior places of Nagaland attended the feast. Varieties of programs were conducted by Sunday school students of Dimapur and Kohima along with MGM hostellers. Neighborhood orphanage students who were special invitees presented songs. Around 300 people participated in the feast.
